I feel like I’m always talking about the sun and sun-
light,
moon and stars, Sagittarius A* and its place
in my heart,
my place in the known world and escape from
                                                       a vicious tailspin.

This world a late-stage safe haven for a sea-
              faring cosmonaut.

I find it’s much easier to talk about the cerulean sky
than the earthly
woes
    —I’ve forsaken—
that lay me to sleep in my flowerbed
                                                    of transgressions.
