What It’s Like to Report
Wounds fresh as seed or banished to a vault,
you drag out in the sun (abuse, assault)—
though scared. You’ve pondered what you’ll jeopardize,
yet scramble fighter jets to cloudless skies—
such righteous anger! Do you feel your power?
Just then: the second plane, the second tower.
