Ars Poëtica
I wake up
inside, bewildered
unhoused in this earth so strange
This body
bounds confusion
This body
keeps screams at bay
I wake up
and they fall as moonlight falls
whispering paths
I’ll listen
Words fall to soften consciousness
I catch them to save my life
