Renaissance
my body, is a shrine, invaded by angels
enough to be called light—cleansing
morph me into a new skin, that I may
wear this light like a dove does to a feather.
to die, is to begin to live, that is to say—
exiling darkness is another way to rebirth death.
that this darkness exile my body, i cleanse.
this way, I body grief like water, say grief too can be
luminescent if written into a fold of hope.
